Former TESTAMENT Duo Rejoin Forces In PUSHED

Former TESTAMENT/SLAYER drummer Jon Dette and ex-TESTAMENT bassist Greg Christian have rejoined forces in PUSHED, a Southern California-based five-piece whose current two-song demo CD is an aggressive-yet-melodic affair that showcases the group's excellent musicianship without relying on speed to get its point across. Whereas Surface is a moody, dynamic number that utilizes vocalist Travis Neal's range effectively, Truth Is Hate is a much more to-the-point cut whose instrumentally-busy verses and unspectacular chorus ultimately render it generic. Completed by guitarist Joe Johnson and keyboardist/samplist Griffin, PUSHED are currently seeking a record deal while continuing to write original material.
